Gustavo Aviles is a filmmaker and writer best known for his genre-blending work "Zombie Jesus Vampire Hunter", part of the "Twilight of Dreams" series. This project has gained international recognition for its unique combination of surreal horror, religious symbolism, and mythological elements. The film has been featured at prestigious festivals such as Cannes Shorts, Budapest Film Festival, Morbido Film Festival, and Wallachia International Film Festival, where it received numerous awards including Best Horror, Best Surreal, and Best Short, and has been praised for its special effects and unique storytelling.

Aviles’s distinct style draws from German Expressionism and        Italian Giallo, blending these influences with psychological and dreamlike storytelling. His works explore mythological, archetypal,   and religious themes, offering a layered dreamlike narrative inviting multiple interpretations.

In 2025, he released the new film "Zombie Jesus Vampire Hunter", a cinematic experience that builds on the earlier success of his "Twilight of Dreams" series and expanding the narrative of his graphic novel "Zombie Jesus Vampire Hunter: The Codices Vol. I". This graphic novel, illustrated by Keith Grachow, introduces a violent, action-packed reimagining of Jesus, featuring other biblical figures like John the Baptist, Mary Magdalene, Judas Iscariot, plus time travel, Nazis, the Roman Empire, UFOs, reptilians, and a vampire Pope.

His background also includes numerous accolades for his film and television work, having won multiple PromaxBDA Awards, New York Festival of Television and Film Awards, and Telly Awards.
